Koos Modderman was born in 1946 at The Hague Netherlands. Living in Voorburg since the age of 12.
The Outdoors has always been a large part in my life, taking in the landscape while cycling or on foot. Summer or Winter.
This is where u will find me.
Its wide spaces offset by trees and a infinite variety of skies, its tone set by light. The Countryside inspires my work.
It forms the base of my Paintings and Drawings.
In Januari 2011 the painting "Aan De Waal" won the first price in the Oil/ Acrylic category in the member expose of
Amateurspalet in Rijswijk museum.
I am currently a working-member of ArtiBrak Voorburg.
My work is frequently on display in art galleries.
